February 2017 Wrap-Up and Mini-Reviews

Ok, so I dropped the ball and I did not have time to complete a February 2017 TBR post. So we will start with my TBR shelf at the start of February: Yeah it was a bit overflowing. So for the month of February I worked on making room on this shelf. Now I will be honest I removed Passenger and Wayfarer by Alexandra Bracken because I tried to read Passenger and did not finish it. Yes, a big ol’ DNF for that book. I will include a mini-review for why I didn’t finish it below. I then of course removed Read More

January 2017 Wrap-Up

What a month! I read a lot, reviewed most and recovered from the holiday season. Now I am ready to do a wrap-up. You can check out my goals for January 2017 HERE. I can say that I met my ARC goals and my Indie Author goals, but unfortunately I did not get much time to read off my TBR shelf though. Here was my goal: For the month of January I am planning to read the following books off my TBR shelf:         Yeah, I only was able to read Bryant & May: Strange Tide. Sheesh right?? Read More

December 2016 Wrap-Up & January 2017 TBR

My goal for December 2016, and you can see that post HERE, was to read 4 books off my TBR shelf and I was successful in reading  3 out of 4 them but I have only reviewed 2 out of 3. One book I did a review on Goodreads. If you are interested here are the links to those reviews: Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas             Fear the Drowning Deep by Sarah Glenn Marsh           With the holidays and my ARC load I just was not able to write Read More

November 2016 Wrap-Up & December 2016 TBR

November 2016 Wrap-Up: November is a hard month to “wrap-up” since I did not have any goals set. I read a ton of books (50), finished up the Wobble Challenge (yay) and finally started reading books just for me (double yay). I will start this post with a mini-review of three books that I really enjoyed (and have not already reviewed or scheduled a review on) that I read in November.   I gave this one 4 stars. This was a nice read! I like author Lyndsay Sands writing style. There is attraction, mystery, crime, passion and always I am Read More

Wrap-Up for October 2016

If you have been following this blog for any amount of time you know that I have been reading books at a heavy rate. I have survived another month of the Wobble Challenge over at Goodreads. We are finally in the last segment of the challenge, Emerge the Victor. In the home stretch and I am so glad for the end to be in sight. I never realize until I put together this post exactly how many books I have read. I know it was a lot this month because my reviews for books that do not make this blog have dwindled Read More

Wrap-Up for September 2016

Hello out there! I have survived another month of the Wobble Challenge over at Goodreads. We are just about to head into our last challenge and I am ready for the challenge to be completed. Do not get me wrong I am loving the challenge but I am looking forward to reading books for me, ha ha ha, not for completing a challenge. There are a few books that I have read that were akin to a slow torture! This month I read 64 books. For me it was a stellar month because I rated seven books a 5 star! Read More

Wrap-Up for August 2016

Where has the summer gone? It was over way to soon! August was another busy month for me! I am still participating in the Wobble Challenge over at Goodreads. Over the course of the month we participated in the Wheel-a-Thon, which consisted of us having to spell out words like “Snow Leopards.” We had to read books that started with the first letter of the word. For example the “S” in snow, I could read the book Strange Days, then a teammate would read a book for “N” like Not Quite Perfect. You get the drift. As a team we are Read More

Wrap-Up for July 2016

Well this has been a very interesting month! I have been very busy reading for challenges, leisure, and some ARC’s. For most of July over at Goodreads Wobble Challenge we were taking part in the book olympics. If you are interested in the exact details of that challenge click HERE. For a brief summary there were five events, Title Relay, Page Jumping, Book into the Distance, Fight Club, and Create a Chariot as well as bonus rounds. It required bunches of reading and lots of teamwork. We rocked it! It also beefed up my reading for the month to a grand Read More
