I decided I would pick a book off my off my TBR and make a suggestion, see what jumped out at me. I picked a book from my to be read books called The Late Show by Michael Connelly. If you like stories with a female detective who is an underdog then you will like reading The Trespasser by Tana French.
Once again, here is the short and dirty list of the books I plan to read for this week:
Dark Fire by Christine Feehan
Sweet Reality by Laura Heffernan
Sweet Sacrifice by L.D. Rose
A Conspiracy in Belgravia by Sherry Thomas
Girls Made of Snow and Glass by Melissa Bashardoust
Nyxia by Scott Reintgen
The Longing and the Lack by C.M. Spivey
Death’s’ Mistress by Terry Goodkind
- Total pages to be read: 2,627
- The books highlighted in blue are advanced reading copies so you can expect a review to be coming on those soon.
Progress on day 4 of the challenge:
Dark Fire by Christine Feehan, 390 pages Sweet Reality by Laura Heffernan, 236 pages Sweet Sacrifice by L.D. Rose, 152 pages A Conspiracy in Belgravia by Sherry Thomas, 336 pages Girls Made of Snow and Glass by Melissa Bashardoust, 372 pages Nyxia by Scott Reintgen, 384 pages
The Longing and the Lack by C.M. Spivey, (20/245 pages)
Death’s’ Mistress by Terry Goodkind, 512 pages (248/512)
Total Pages Completed: 2,138/2,627
Yesterday turned out better than I expected in terms of time so I was able to get all the reading done that I wanted PLUS watch some TV and read 20 pages into my next book to read, The Longing and the Lack.
Now, I honestly did not think I would have any spare time at the end of this read-a-thon but it looks like I will have tomorrow free if I finish both The Longing and the Lack and Death’s Mistress today. I figured in the event that I did have some “spare time” I would read a book that I have bought but not read. I am debating between these three books:
- Shadow Reaper by Christine Feehan
- Dirty Little Secrets by Liliana Hart
- Thick as Thieves by Megan Whalen Turner
Not sure which one I will read yet. I am going to see how today goes. I have nothing scheduled for Sunday, the last day of the read-a-thon, because I am also in the Hunger Games reading challenge over at Goodreads and on Saturday night is when we receive our weekly challenges for the following week. So Sunday for me is “anything goes” based upon what books I need to read to complete that challenge. Which means that my last post will be a surprise as to what I have read. Thank you for supporting me and following along!
