I'm the Mayor of London.
I've come to New York purely on business. The usual boring meetings with other politicians. I don't expect my time here to be exciting in the slightest.
But who's that woman I met this morning? No, girl. That would be a more accurate term for her. She's only twenty-one years old. A college student. Someone who shouldn't get mixed up with a guy like me.
But I can't get her out of my mind. Every single time I close my eyes, I see her face. How can someone I just met do this to me? That's the kind of stuff that happens in movies. Not real life.
I know this will be a dangerous risk for me, but I can't help it. I want her. I need her. And whatever it may do to my career, I won't stop until I have her.
Mr. Prescott is a standalone New Adult Romance novel told entirely from the point of view of the male lead.

I am a fan of romance and an older man romance is not the kind you read every day. So, I was excited to get my hands on the book Mr. Prescott. View Spoiler »Although, when I read “older man” I thought late forties, mid-fifties?? Maybe it is because I am not a young adult anymore but thirty-eight just doesn’t strike me as older man « Hide Spoiler….ha ha ha..is this the conversation we have when I realize that I am getting old? That is beside the point but I will say that Mr. Prescott was a fast read that was a little swoony and it is told from the man’s point of view.
I enjoyed Mr. Prescott, aka Nathan. He was chivalrous and romantic but still kept his man card. His verbiage was crude at points not vulgar and the way he saw things was very much like a guy. “Now I want to do it here, here, and there, where else can I do this…oh yes, here and I look good doing this.” That is not a direct quote from the book, it is how I see Nathan’s inner thoughts, lol. I enjoyed the voice of this character. It did feel authentic. There are a lot of sexy times in this story. If you are a fan of steamy romance with a lot of heat, this is a story for you.
I will say that this story was cute because it started in a book store and it has a dreamy romantic fantasy that some girls have of being swept off their feet. There was not much substance to the Mr. Prescott’s character or to Nicole’s either. I did appreciate that Nathan was honest about his flaws and his expectations with women. You knew what to expect out of him and understood his dilemmas. It was an insta-love-mance but it was also a fun read that was humorous, slightly romantic, and one that I really enjoyed.
