2017 Flights of Fantasy Reading Challenge

While perusing some of the other great blogs out there I can across a post by Jacquie @ Rattle the Stars. The post was an explanation of a reading challenge called Flights of Fantasy Reading Challenge 2017. It is a challenge that is for readers who are into reading the fantasy genre. There is no pressure as you have all year and it is up to yourself to set the number of fantasy books that you wish to read. As you may already know I am a huge fan of the fantasy genre and this was very exciting to me.

This challenge is hosted by Alexa of Alexa Loves Books and Rachel of Hello, Chelly. If this challenge interests you, I would head over and sign up as there is still time to sign up. I am looking forward to this challenge but I am also looking forward to seeing what other bloggers are choosing to read and maybe even having discussions about the books. Yay! I really don’t make the time to connect with other bloggers because my schedule is tight as it is BUT a goal that I have for this New Year is to make the time to connect to the blogging community so this challenge may help in that way.

I am planning on reading 30 fantasy books over this year. Here is my proposed TBR for this challenge:

Reap & Reveal by Lisa Medley Steel's Edge by Ilona Andrews Hungry Ghosts by Stephen Blackmoore Windwitch by Susan Dennard White Hot by Ilona Andrews The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh The Song Rising by Samantha Shannon The Novice by Taran Matharu The Edge of the Blade by Jeffe Kennedy Silence Fallen by Patricia Briggs Shadow Bound by Bec McMaster  Scythe by Neal Shusterman  Poison's Kiss by Breeana Shields Mission Improper by Bec McMaster Eleventh Grave in the Moonlight by Darynda Jones Demon Moon by Brad Magnarella Daughter of the Pirate KIng by Tricia Levenseller Dark Magic by Christine Feehan Caraval by Stephanie Garber Age of Swords by Michael Sullivan A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas A Conjuring of Light by V.E. Schwab It's You (book 2) by K.P. Kelley The Hanging Tree by Ben Aaronovitch  The Edge of Everything by Jeff Giles A Torch Against The Night by Sabaa Tahir The Queen of Blood by Sarah Beth Durst Flame in the Mist by Renee Ahdieh Undraland by Mary E. Twomey Traveler by L.E. Delano

Does this challenge seem like anything you would be interested in? I would love to hear about it. 🙂

  1. Nice TBR! Just by looking at some of the cover I’ve found some books to add to mine. The Dark Arts series looks interesting – a sorceress, relics, dark magic. YES! I hope that you love The Wrath & the Dawn. It’s one of my favourite books. It’s just so darn beautiful and swoon worthy. Good luck!! 🙂

    • I was on the fence about Teh Wrath and the Dawn bbut it really seems to resound with people so reading it is a way to challenge myself. 🙂 Yes, I am excited to read the Dark Art series. I have the books already but haven’t had time to actually read them. I enjoy pretty much everything from Bec McMasters. 🙂

Comments?.....I would love to hear from you.....♥️
