December 2016 Wrap-Up & January 2017 TBR

Posted December 31, 2016 by Minx

My goal for December 2016, and you can see that post HERE, was to read 4 books off my TBR shelf and I was successful in reading  3 out of 4 them but I have only reviewed 2 out of 3. One book I did a review on Goodreads. If you are interested here are the links to those reviews:

Empire of Storms by Sarah J. MaasEmpire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas

Fear the Drowning Deep by Sarah Glenn MarshFear the Drowning Deep by Sarah Glenn Marsh

With the holidays and my ARC load I just was not able to write a review for Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo and I am still in the middle of reading Reckless Creed by Alex Kava. So expect those reviews sometime next month.

As far as my ARC and Indie Author goals, I totally nailed them and those reviews published these past three weeks. Yay, go me!

January 2017 TBR

January for me is packed, just packed! I have recently picked up two new physical books, they are The Hanging Tree by Ben Aaronovitch & Bryant & May: Strange Tide by Christopher Fowler  Those books have joined my other lovelies on my TBR shelf as you can see in my picture below:

For ARC’s (Advanced Review Copies) I have scheduled to read the following books:

Man on the Run by Carl Weber   Three by Jane Blythe   The Edge of Everything by Jeff Giles

The Girl in the Garden by Melanie Wallace   It's You (book 1) by K.P. Kelley   It's You (book 2) by K.P. Kelley

My Indie love? For Independent Authors I have the following books scheduled to review:

Of course as always this is not a complete list. There are a few books that I am planning to read and review that are not included here but all the books listed are ones that I will read because I have been looking forward to reading them. 😁 Sometimes for a couple of months! Anyway, I cannot believe that this will the last post for the year 2016! It is unbelievable how fast time flies.

See you in 2017! Until then keep reading what you love…..Cheers!
